Oh yes I did:
Mostly thanks to the produce at whole foods, I concocted this amazing mango avocado salsa today and ate it with yellow corn tortillas and organic cheddar. Hellz yeah! Oh yes I did put in 1.5 avocados instead of 1!
I literally did not see a single edible mango in champaign in 5 years. What up whole foods!
I do still want to make an actual savory, tomato based salsa or three in consecutive weekends! Lots of garlic, lots of tomatoes, that's what I'm looking for! But, Lord Yes, it might take a while to get there: there are a whoolllleeeeeeeeeee lot of avocado salsa recipes with 4 forks on epicurious, and it wouldn't be right to skip them all!
